Canada's World War II Aces
Larry Gray

They were the dashing heroes of the skies—Canada’s top pilots of the Second World War whose stories continue to amaze and inspire us.

Read about flyers such as George “Buzz” Beurling, one of the greatest aces of the war, who survived his battles only to crash in Rome on his way to join the Israeli air force and Robert “Buck” McNair, who loved to fly so much that he hid the nearloss of sight in one eye to keep from being grounded.
