Cowboys are glamorous, brave and dashing! NOT! The myth of the rugged, handsome man on a horse riding the western range is certainly romantic, but frankly it’s an unrealistic view of the true life of the cowboy.
The real story is that cowboying was truly a hard life where tough, rangy men slogged through the mud, and baked or froze depending on the season. So with all the hardships they endured working with their animals, you’ll not be surprised that they appreciate the well-turned one-liner, the hilarious story or the delightful short:
