The Calgary Stampede is the Super Bowl of chuckwagon racing.Nowhere else in the world are these races held on the same scale or grandeur as in Calgary.

For 10 decades, drivers and outriders with their horses and wagons have roared around Calgary’s racetrack. It is an incomparable contest that gallops into the lives, stories and true tall tales of the men and women in a community that has no equal.

Working, playing and laughing, the involvement of entire families is rare in any pro sport, but it has always been a facet of chuckwagon racing. Many families trace their involvement in decades or generations. As in a chuckwagon stew, where simple ingredients combine into something extraordinary, stir together horses, cowboys and daring, and you have a recipe for a spectacle like no other!

He tells it like it is! For those of us and those before us who
poured their heart and soul, blood, sweat and tears into this
