• Group of Seven artist Tom Thomson was just beginning to enjoy the accolades of Canadian art lovers when he disappeared during a fishing trip on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park; His body was apparently discovered eight days later, but the mystery surrounding his death still lingers
• It is unlikely that anyone will solve the mystery of “Jerome,” the man who was found stranded on a beach near Digby Neck, NS; his legs were amputated, and he was never able to communicate his identity or where he came from
• Lyle and Marie McCann of St. Albert were last seen filling their motorhome with gasoline in July 2010; their bodies have still not been found, but Travis Vader has been charged with their murder.
